This is a laser cut kit based on the Birol Oner plan for the P51D mustang. This rendition of this famous and popular aircraft is designed to fly well as a free flight rubber powered model. It has adequate dihedral, an enlarged stabilizer and a forward rear peg position. The kit includes hand selected balsa and a vacuformed canopy. It includes many small detailed components that can be used to assemble a realistic undercarriage for those interested an a wheels down version. The paper plan included with the kit is beautifully drafted with many detailed isometric drawings that will help you with the construction. This version of this kit is a prototype so it is being offered at a slightly reduced price point. NEW: the kit will now come with a jig the allows you to assemble the fuselage with greater ease and accuracy.
