This is a short kit for a simplified scale Grumman Skyrocket twin based on the dime scale model designed by Pete Kaiteris and published in the FAC newsletter (see video here). This particular kit spans 24 inches and falls into the “Simplified Scale” class. Kit comes with all of the sheet wood as well as laser cut sticks (all cut to the required length for the individual long edge or cross piece) required to build the model, a vac formed cockpit canopy, and some art for the pilot, cockpit, and engines. You can also opt for a pair of 7 inch prop blank kits (you have to assemble the prop blanks and carve the props). The prop kits include plywood core material to ensure that they will survive many landings. The 24” version of this plan was redrafted and is available as a download on the digital plans page for $10 or as a $15 purchase if you want a large format paper plan.

1. Bare bones - a simple short kit with all items described above excluding the plan (you buy the digital plan here and print it yourself and select your prop if you want one here)

2. Basic - Short kit, and a single sheet folded printed plan (select your props if you want them here ).

3. Basic plus - Short kit, a single sheet folded printed plan and two 7 inch prop kits

4. Full meal deal - short kit, printed plan, two 7 inch prop kits, and printed tissue (grey for fuselage and yellow for wings).
