Thermal Magnet Embryo By Archie Adamisin
Thermal Magnet Embryo By Archie Adamisin
This is a kit for Archie Adamasin’s thermal magnet outdoor embryo endurance model. All versions of the kit include all of the laser cut sheet-wood parts required to build the model including fuselage cross pieces and trailing edges and a paper plan. For the short kit you supply longerons, spars, and leading edges and hardware for undercarriage and front end. The short kit with prop includes an unfinished formed balsa prop that will require doping and sanding. The full kit comes with everything required to build the model including, strip wood, tissue (white) a moulded balsa propeller, prop shaft, crocket hook, wire for the undercarriage and enough rubber for three motors.
It is recommended that a dethermalizer of some sort be installed as this airplane is designed to catch thermals and could easily fly away into the great beyond unless there is some mechanism to bring it down. You can see in the photos of Archie’s prototype that the stabilizer is designed to tip up to 45 degrees to enable dethermalization. An electronic dethermalizer is available here
