Over the last year I have been working with a company in China to develop very stiff carbon booms for gliders (FF or small “mosquito class” RC gliders). The larger booms are good for Tip Launch Gliders (TLG; large or small). The medium boom is good for large and medium catapult gliders and hand-launch gliders. The small booms are the hardest to make and are the most expensive but they excellent for small catapult gliders and hand launch gliders.
